Bring Back The Dead Technology//Tupac in Coachella 2012

Bring Back The Dead Technology//Tupac in Coachella 2012
How the dead is bring back to live?
Tupac in Coachella
As we all know 2 PAC (Tupac) has been long gone. What surprise us was the 2 PAC performance with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg in this year Coachella! With the technology behind, people from AV Concepts has brought 2 Pac back to live on stage!Let's have a look how this thing works.
The Holograms?
It's actually not a hologram... sorry guys. Its an enhanced version of mid 19 century tricks known as "Pepper's Ghost".

Roxanne Palmer at the International Business TImes made this infographic that clearly illustrated how the whole hologram shenanigans worked. AV Concepts, the company behind the fauxlogram, used Musion Systems Ltd.'s Musion Eyeliner setup to project a 2D animated Tupac onto an invisible (to the audience) screen to make him look 3D. INVADER:THE SPACE INVADER

INVADER:THE SPACE INVADER
Was in Paris during the recent holiday. Only able to capture 8/1000 space invader tiles there, SMH. For those who don't know what it is, here is a short intro of INVADER himself.
INVADER INTRO
Invader (born 1969) is a French urban artist who pastes up characters from and inspired by the Space Invaders game, made up of small coloured square mosaic tiles that form a space invader character murel. He does this in cities across the world, then documents this as an "Invasion", with books and maps of where to find each invader.
For more info, check him out in WIKI.

Street Art: Tags not Labels Exhibition

TAGS NOT LABELS
For the palatial corridors of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the traditionally history-focused Ulster Museum, spray cans and Banksy twists on the bible are largely unchartered territory.

Banksy: Virgin Mary
Street Art represents a bit of a new path for the planners involved in the collaboration between the two venues, which has resulted in the V&A's show of some of the best aerosol merchants in the land heading to Belfast.
And alongside the likes of Gorillaz animator Jamie Hewlett, following a hotly-contested local search for talent, they’ve commissioned some of the Northern Irish capital's finest street artists for accompanying local showcase Tags not Labels.

Lady Gaga x Tony Bennett

"Lady Gaga" by Tony Bennett
Tony Bennett, the famous jazz artist, drew a nude portrait of Lady Gaga for the charity of ETA (Exploring the Arts) and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. This piece of art was listen on Ebay for auctions with the ending price of US$26,900. But still it did not meet the reserved price. Check out below for the description of this collaboration.
LADY GAGA x TONY BENNETT
After recording “Lady Is a Tramp” for Tony Bennett’s newest album, Duets II, Lady Gaga posed for Bennett and Vanity Fair contributing photographer Annie Leibovitz in New York City. The resulting drawing and photograph can be seen exclusively in the January 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, available on newsstands now. You can own the original charcoal drawing, an original print of the Vanity Fair cover photograph signed by Annie Leibovitz, or one of several other unique items from the Vanity Fair shoot.
All proceeds go to Tony Bennett’s charity, Exploring the Arts, and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

Tony Bennett created this charcoal portrait of Lady Gaga using Prismacolor Premier Art vine Charcoal sticks working on Fabriano Artisico heavy weight watercolor paper. The portrait measures 18" x 24" and is signed by the artist, using his given name "Benedetto" which is how Tony Bennett signs his original artwork.
